Privacy Policy

Inner Me Art Therapy, ABN 41 607 568 292 ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It covers this website and enquiries made through it. How information is handled once you become a client is explained separately.

What we collect

When you book a free phone chat, you enter your details on a Halaxy booking page. This usually includes your name, phone number and email address, and anything you choose to add. Halaxy is Rachel's practice management system. It collects and stores those booking details, under its own privacy policy.

If you email or phone Rachel directly, that contact goes to Rachel directly, and we keep what you send so we can reply.

This website does not use analytics or advertising tracking tools. Like any website, our hosting provider may record standard technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, device and browser details.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to you and to arrange a conversation about sessions. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except as described in this policy.

Where it is stored

Booking details are collected and stored by Halaxy. Emails and calls to Rachel go to admin@innermearttherapy.com.au and 0421 751 865. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace.

Cookies and third-party content

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies or tags, such as Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel or Google Ads. The About page shows a professional credential badge from Credly. It is loaded from Credly's servers, which may receive your IP address and device details and may set cookies, under Credly's own privacy policy. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy first.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Keeping information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep emails only as long as we need them.

Links to other sites

This website links to other sites, such as social media, our professional bodies and our booking provider. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Access, corrections and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting us at admin@innermearttherapy.com.au or 0421 751 865. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
